Flying Shear Machine
On-line Fixed-length Cutting: As a core supporting equipment for continuous production lines such as steel rolling, pickling, galvanizing, and color coating, it completes fixed-length cutting during the high-speed operation of steel coils (up to 13m/s) without stopping the machine. It can directly produce steel plates/ strips of standardized length (e.g., fixed-length construction steel bars, sized steel plates for home appliance casings), avoiding production capacity waste caused by traditional stop-cutting and ensuring the continuous operation of the production line.
Head/Tail and Edge Trimming: Targeting the irregular deformation of the steel coil head after uncoiling, the waste section at the tail, as well as burrs and defective parts on the coil edges, it quickly achieves precise cutting to remove unqualified areas. This ensures uniform material and neat edges of the steel coil for subsequent processing, improving the qualified rate of finished products.
Emergency Shearing for Accidents: When sudden issues such as material jamming, deviation, or equipment failure occur in the steel coil production line, the flying shear can instantly activate the emergency shearing function to quickly cut the running steel coil. This prevents the expansion of faults leading to equipment damage or prolonged shutdown of the entire production line, reducing accident losses.
Multi-line Slitting and Cutting: For scenarios requiring parallel production of multiple workpieces such as ribbed steel bars and alloy steel, it can simultaneously perform synchronous cutting on 1-5 steel coil workpieces, producing multiple standardized products at one time. This significantly improves the batch production efficiency of multi-specification steel coils and adapts to the large-scale needs of industries such as construction and machinery manufacturing.
Multi-material Adaptive Cutting: Compatible with various materials including cold-rolled steel coils, hot-rolled steel coils, galvanized steel coils, stainless steel coils, and alloy steel coils, it can cut steel coils with a thickness of 0.3mm-3mm (special models can handle thicker specifications). It meets the differentiated requirements for steel coil materials and thicknesses in industries such as automotive, home appliances, chemical engineering, and construction.
Customized Size Cutting: Supporting small-batch customized production, it can quickly adjust cutting length parameters through the PLC closed-loop control system (fixed-length error within ±0.3mm). It flexibly adapts to non-standard steel coil processing needs (e.g., special-shaped steel plates for mechanical parts, customized packaging steel strips), balancing standardized and personalized production.
Pre-treatment Cutting: Providing "ready-to-use" semi-finished steel parts for subsequent processes such as welding, bending, stamping, and spraying, it reduces trimming and straightening workload in downstream processes through smooth burr-free cuts and precise size control. This shortens the overall production cycle and lowers secondary processing costs.
Post-slitting Cutting: First, the wide steel coil is divided into multiple narrow strips by a slitting machine, and then the flying shear completes fixed-length cutting of each narrow strip. It produces multi-specification narrow finished steel strips (e.g., precision narrow steel strips for electronic equipment, strip-shaped steel parts for hardware accessories), adapting to the refined needs of segmented industries.
High-temperature Steel Coil Cutting: Specifically designed for on-line cutting of high-temperature steel coils after hot rolling (withstanding temperatures above 900℃), it avoids problems such as increased hardness and cutting difficulty caused by reprocessing after the high-temperature steel coil cools down. It is suitable for hot-rolled production lines of high-strength steel coils such as bearing steel and alloy steel.
Waste Control and Utilization Rate Improvement: Through precise cutting positioning and waste-free cut design, it reduces material waste during steel coil processing, increasing the steel coil utilization rate by 5%-15%. Especially for high-value materials such as stainless steel coils and alloy steel coils, it significantly reduces raw material costs.
Surface Protection Cutting: Adopting super-hard alloy-coated blades and non-slip shear technology, it avoids scratches on the galvanized layer or alloy layer of the steel coil surface during cutting, ensuring the surface finish of the steel coil. It meets the application scenarios with high surface quality requirements such as automotive casings and home appliance panels.
Safe Operation Guarantee: Replacing manual cutting operations, it avoids safety risks caused by manual contact with high-speed running steel coils and sharp cuts. Meanwhile, the automatic stacking function reduces collisions and deformation during steel coil handling, ensuring production safety and product quality stability.
